I was elected a year ago to complete a partially-filled term on the SCC.  It has been a privilege to represent Washington County.  I am a solid conservative committed to limited government, balanced budgets, individual liberty, and individual responsibility.  I have volunteered time to campaign for numerous Republican candidates over many years, beginning when I was still in high school.  I wholeheartedly support the Republican Party platform.  I have served as a county delegate, a state delegate, a member of the SCC, and am currently vice chair of my precinct. Over the years of participating in the caucus-convention system I have never missed a convention when serving as a delegate, and I have never missed an SCC meeting since being elected to serve there.  I fulfill the commitments that I make.  I would love to serve a full term this time.  Feel free to contact me at 435-652-4194, or Patrick.G.Bradley@GMail.com.

It has been an honor to represent Washington County first as a precinct chair, then Vice Chair of the Washington County Republican party and the past two years on the State Central Committee.  The state party has had its struggles during this time but by adhering to our governing documents, we have come through it strong and ready to get to work to win elections in 2020.Holding to my personal belief in term limits, two consecutive terms are appropriate. I'm asking for your vote to serve a second term and will then step aside and give someone else the opportunity to serve. It is an honor of a life time to serve the people of Washington County. I ask for your vote and will continue to make decisions based on our party's governing documents, our party platform and with careful consideration of all sides of an issue. Please call 435-313-5567 or email mwb1951@yahoo.com Thank you!

Matt Howard

I grew up in New York, a state with way too many Democrats. As soon as I could I moved to Utah to attend BYU where I discovered Southern Utah with its small towns and conservative values. I knew immediately that this was the place to settle my young family.

But, all is not as conservative as it seems in Utah. Too many Republicans in Utah are eager to pressure their government officials to regulate away their own freedom, too many are complicit in Federal control of Utah lands, and far too many want to make their voice irrelevant by allowing the caucus system to be bypassed. Too many Republicans in Utah are acting like the Democrats I left in New York.

The Utah Republican Party platform is a good platform and I fully support it. As a member of the State Central Committee I will work to promote the Republican Party platform values have made Utah the best state in the nation.

Larry graduated from BYU with a B.A. in Political Science (1991) and from BYU’s Law School with a J.D. (1995).  He was a local prosecuting attorney for seven years and founded his own firm in 2004.
